Hi ..of course!! ...
We have to make choices, in life...all the time! ..
Even their not always, the right ones! ...
We are not puppets, but sometimes..we have to follow..certain rules...
That's it! ..

Kind regards!!:)

Nice question.
Actually, as I always say, life is full of challenges. If any choices you make can help you get over your challenges, then it would be too easy. But we don't know if it's what we really wanted to choose or not.
Since I feel cursed by life, I would rather say that choices are something already written by fate and nobody can't turn over a choice that has been made. Or even if sometimes you think you can make up your mind and you choose another path... it's not true, destiny has already written that you made up your mind and so on...
We are puppets, that's the roof of life.

Not really. There are somethings you can't control, like the actions of others. For instance, if a big war happens and you get called to go (this is assuming you don't have any major illnesses or disablities, of course.) you really have no choice in the matter.
However, in situations like taking a multiple choice test. I think the only luck you get is the kind you create by studying. Basically, work hard and you have better chance of things going your way. Let other ppl do it/hope that probability is on your side and your asking to be struck down.
So, create your own luck by working hard and controling your life. and make good decisions, or at least the best possible.

I wouldn't say that choice is an illusion. Choice happens everyday. However, from past experience, if you try to control every aspect of your life then your destiny may not be the true journey. Let go and let God ... Believe in a higher power and allow that higher power to guide you ... Answers will come to you in time and the choices will more than likely be more realistic.

Yes we have a choice, depending on your age, you can feel that everyone else is making choices for you right now, but, as grow older you find that your choices can make all the difference. If your older already, maybe you should take a closer look at some of the coices you have already made & possibly do something to change them if they don't seem to have worked out. Believing that destiny controls our lives is doing nothing & a cop out.

Your choice is the way of your destiny, you are controlling your own puppet, you choose every decisions in your life so you must have to accept whatever consequenses in your life,it might be a failure or success! But if you grab chances, probably you have got the right choice but it does not mean you are in the right track always! Some guys have all the luck, but we can never tell we are lucky enough if we are contented of what situation we have in our life now!Be simple!

we have a choice about everything...we make choices every minute that passes-we decide whether we should or shouldn't turn on the TV and open a book instead....whether we should go to the gym or have a big hamburger with a Coke Max...whether we should cheat on our girlfriends or not...whether we should return the wallet with the 500$ we just found on the sidewalk, help the old lady with her bags, steal the money from the cache register, tell the truth or lie....saying that we don't have a choice is an illusion-the greatest illusion, and one carefully created by media specialists and social scientists,it's only an attempt to help people get rid of the responsibility of their own actions...

You definitely have a choice destiny is already there but you don't have to just go with the wind you make your own choices like what you wear and eat no one if forcing you to make a decision except you.

i believe absolutely that God gave us free choice (free will) and that we are not "puppets in the hands of destiny" at all. but because he knows all things and is not governed by time he already knows what choices we will make. we all make choices all the time...what to eat, to wear, where to live, HOW to live, where to work etc etc etc....and because He loves all of us, he wants us all to choose to be with Him in heaven, NOT because He wants us to be puppets or robots, but because of the love that we have for Him.
God created us all, He could destroy us all in a nano second if He chose to .... but He loves us so much that He even allows us to reject Him. if that's not free choice and free will then i don't know what is :)

i think you should narrow the field a little. some things we do have a choice in others we don't.we can't choose to be rich or famous these things must be aligned in our lives threw hard work and desire to be so. we can however choose the ways we treat each other and approach problems in our lives.to some degree the choices we make are determined by other factors such as money ,time or relation to the choice its self but yes i think the ability to chose is real.

p.s. i chose to answer this
