i put my pet dog of 16 yrs down tuesday. and want to show my wife about unconditional love.

That unconditional love is the best kind. (You'll be loved even if you acidentally poop on the carpet from time to time.)

they don't hold grudges,,,every day is a new day,,,they are always happy to see you each day,,they hate to see you leave in the morning,,,they will share the bed and the COVERS,,when a pet meets you at the door,,tail wagging,,,jumping around till you pick them up,licking your face,,so happy to see you even if you we're gone only 10 minutes!! now thats love from an animal!!! more humans could learn from an animal,,,happy to see their mates,,forget about the fight you may have had the day before(it wasn't important) a kiss each day when you see each other again,I'll take my dog any day over a human,,,she's my baby!!

Well, pets are gonna love you no matter what an awful person you are. I have birds and when they do something they are not supposed to do and I have to scold them with a stern "NO" and put them back in their cages, they still want to come out and hang with me. That's love.

2) Being human gets you stained carpets and veterinary bills.
