Thomas Rosicky

Miroslav Klose of Germany
Tomas Rosicky of Czech Republic

Those two are your best bets. Klose came in 2nd to Ronaldo last World Cup. Depending on how far Ecuador and Spain go, it could be Delgado or Villa.

But it's early. It's anyone's award right now (except for players who play for Costa Rica, Poland, or Paraguay).

well for most bandwagon soccer fans the obvious answer would be ronaldinho...hes the best right....well maybe but with and unimpressive first game it doesn't really look like Brazil is going to be the powerhouse ever one expected and ronaldinho might have to spend more energy pulling his team together then fighting for the golden shoe award...my bets on Spain's David villa...with there star Raul losing some play time to a injury villa has already proven he can rise to the occasion scoring two goals in the Spanish opener against Ukraine...i expect alot more of that in this tournament from him....

I'd watch out for Tomas Rosicky of the Czech Republic and Miroslav Klose of Germany.

Adriano from Brazil. I know he hasn't scored yet but i think he'll score a hat-trick against Australia.
