Guess you didn't know that the M in MTV doesn't stand for music, it stands for Marketing.

The same reason MTV in the US is purely reality tv shows and no longer about music.

Lets see, you wake up to a few hours of music, then the reality show come on, then they have TRl and others like it, that dont play the whole song, then reality show, Isnt that all MTV's

We have MTV2 over here, it is much better cause the play these things called Music Videos.
