Much of their leadership sees everything through the prism of Vietnam. They helped lose the peace then. They are NOW the Kerrys, Clintons, media leaders, academics, etc. They beleive that all Democrats believe the same way. This is, of course mistaken, but you wouldn't know it if you listened only to CNN, for instance. In teh immediate case, they have never given up on hating Bush for winning in 2000. Anything he says or does is automatically wrong in their eyes. It would be interesting to see how they would have reacted had B. Cinton done the same.

What job?? You mean the oil!!
Rice and bush said this
Rice: No guarantees on Iraq, Afghanistan By ANNE GEARAN and TIM WHITMIRE, Associated Press Writers
2 hours, 52 minutes ago
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said Wednesday that the U.S. military interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan do not assure those countries will become successful democracies. But she said the chance for success is worth the price.
Is this the NEW JOB??????????
"chance for success is worth the price"!!!! Is this the new reason we went to Iraq? So we might end up with someone worse than Hussein!
By the way, NIXON GAVE UP ON VIETNAM!!!
This is an unwinable anyway! The Iraqi's don't want us there and this was never a war on terrorism, which doesn't exist anyway!!!!
Funny, I never saw you in Vietnam!!

It's a hell of alot worse than that. They want to turn the US into a sick communist dictatorship. Toward that goal, they freely interfere with national defense and aid our enemies. They hope that the US will lose a major war and that millions of americans will be killed (alot of them, like Ward Churchill are out in the open about this). They hope this will result in the collapse of our government, so that they can move in and take over....then institute a genocide like every other country that marxism has been tried in. That is what the whole vietnam thing was about and it is the sole purpose of the anti-war movement, liberalism and, unfortunately, the democratic party. These people aren't just traitors. They are socialist monsters.
Remember what happened after we pulled out of Vietnam? Millions of innocent people were cruelly put to death by the communists. The anti-war crowd worked very hard to make sure we didn't interfere with that (guess who was the major player in this.....John Kerry). The important thing to understand is that it was a purposeful act. They knew full well that genocide would happen. They WANTED it to happen and worked tirelessly to make it happen. These people are heinously evil and their hands are deeply stained with blood.
If we had any brains at all, we would round up the lot of them and hang them.

HOW DARE YOU MAKE A STATEMENT SO STUPID AS, young men's lives get wasted.....WHAT THE H_LL DO YOU KNOW ABOUT VIET NAM EITHER.....you sure don't have a clue about politics. You think just because you win a war or not will justify whether a soldier losing his live is wasted or not. Who's asking this question anyway....is that you G.W. ?

First of all no one ever wins a war. As long as there are innocent lives being taken then everyone is a loser. You have to realize that this is the type of conflict that cannot be won. Its a war of ideas and as long as there are people who teach hatred from a young age and glorify such things as flying planes into buildings it will be a war that will continue to be waged.
Democrats don't want to give up the War on Terror, they want to get out of Iraq before we are stuck in a civil war. We do have to take into account that Iraqis are turning a corner and thats why we were able to get Al-Zarqawi. Hopefully, they will continue to realize that they're future is in they're hands and if they are tired of dying then they must decide to accept the opportunity of freedom that we have laid before them.

Lying Comes Naturally to Bush & the Republicans
Whenever Republican politicians find themselves in trouble, their automatic knee-jerk reaction is to blame Democrats. If there is nothing to blame Democrats for, they merely make something up - they lie. This is exactly what the Republican National Committee (RNC) chairman, following the lead of his boss George W. Bush, has done and is doing. He is placing the blame of the mean and punitive House immigration bill on the Democrats, when he knows that it is an outrageous lie.
"To be anti- George Bush is to be pro-American,"
I think he's dangerous, and he has to be stopped."

Perhaps because the entire war is unjust, the reasons keep changing [remember WMDs?], there's no exit strategy, the "pres" doesn't listen to the generals, etc. etc.
There will be no "winning" of this war. But finally, just like before, the US people will say enough is enough.

We don't want to give up the fight... we want to start fighting the fight...
Why don't Republicans care that we aren't fighting the terrorist that hit us? There are no real links from Iraq to 9-11? Why do you just want to let Osama go?
