Kohl's has a nice "petite" section for people 5'4" and under. I think JC Penney does as well.

My suggestion is to buy "regular" clothes and get them altered... this usually produces the best fit, because children's sizes are not proportioned for adults, and petite sizes, although closer, often end up being boxier cuts. The advantage with getting alterations is that you get a perfect fit for YOU -- so even if you think length is the only thing wrong with the fit of the clothes, maybe there are other alterations that can be done to the clothes to make them even more flattering for your body type and proportions.

Hey Ann of course the logical answer is petite sections of any department store...........but another great idea which is relatively inexpensive for a great fit...........find clothes that are a perfect fit on the top have the length tailored..............that's really the only solution if the petites isn't working. Have a nice day!

they're clothes for petite women... also, when in stores, try looking in the petite section. they'll have just what you need. they sell things labled "short" in pants if you go to any other stores. shirts shouldnt be a problem, otherwise, buy the smaller size!

Depends how old you are. If you're young...children's department. Try petite sections of stores and malls for smaller sized clothing

Most fine department stores have a great petite department; I was just shopping in the Petite Focus department at Nordstrom and was delighted at the selection.

many stores now carry a petite sizes. Petite does not mean skinny. It means short. You can get whatever size you need, but if it has 'petite' added to it, like 10 petite, etc... it means short.
