Merging with the old AFL and forming the modern-day NFL is the greatest achievement for the league overall.

The greatest individual accomplishment is Jerry Rice's record for most touchdowns. A running back has a huge advantage in this area due to goal line situations, and yet Rice holds the record from the wide receiver position. That's pretty amazing.

I'll say it's one of these three.

Probably Dan Marino's 5000 yard passing season.
Jerry Rice's career recieving numbers 22,895.
Or the 72 Dolphins going undefeated.

WINNING 3 OUT OF 4 SUPER BOWLS IN THIS MODERN TIME OF FREE AGENCY AND THE THEORY THAT ANY TEAM CAN WIN AT THE BEGINING OF THE SEASON, LOOK AT THE STEELERS LAST YEAR. THEY WERE 7-5 AT ONE POINT LAST YEAR AND NO ONE COULD OF PREDICTED THAT THEY WOULD OF EVEN BEEN A PLAY OFF CONTENDER NEVER MIND THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS AT YEAR END. SO MY ANSWER IS THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS. MY 2ND CHOICE WOULD ALSO BE THE PATS WHEN THEY BEAT THE RAMS BECAUSE OF THE POINT SPREAD WHICH WAS 2 TOUCHDOWNS IN FAVOR OF THE RAMS AT KICK-OFF. WE ALL KNOW HOW THAT ONE TURNED OUT.

I would have to agree that the New England Patriots current day dynasty in today's free agency market is truly an incredible feat.
