It is summer.I have no money and nobody to do anything with.I need some ideas.I don't want to just sit on my butt and doing things that aren't even worth talking about.Please somebody help me!!!!!!

get up early, sit on your porch and watch the sun rise or drive to a pond or lake and watch the sun rise there. go to a public bike or hiking trail. think of some charity you wouldnt mind doing. maybe cutting the grass for an older person, visiting a rest home, offering a stressed out mom to watch her kids once in a while. try the brownie batter blizzard at DQ. buy fresh in-season produce- maybe a pineapple, strawberries, or something crazy like a papaya or mango. go for a walk evening. plant a flower or two. and a frozen margaritta is good for the soul also!

Most newspapers have listings of local stuff to do that's free. If you want free newspapers, go to the public library. They also have books, videos, discussion groups, and more. Volunteer at a local animal shelter and hug the puppies all day, or better yet, the old dogs and cats who cry for your love and will make you feel like royalty at the end of the day. Clean your home - good exercise - and have a garage sale to raise a few bucks and go to a matinee movie - it's cheaper. Go fishing - free dinner - and maybe meet others in the same boat as you. Talk to others - network - and discuss your feelings: they may treat you to some activities at their cost and this will make you less lonely. If you don't have many friends, put a personal ad on Craigslist.com (be careful) and meet others. Lastly, turn off that damn TV and walk - you'll see stuff. Life is waiting for you, and most of it costs nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
