I met Billy Mills, the gold medalist from the 60's, 10000 meter event at the 2004 Brookings MArathon. he was very humble and friendly and told me to swim more.

I went to school with olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis. Very nice, down to earth. I ran into him years later at the mall...still the same!

I run with a famous runners...i mean 2 famous runners... one of them holds the record for the Galveston marathon

I've been in close proximity to a few at running expos, but I can't say I've ever spoken 1-on-1 with a famous runner. Pity, really.

I didn't really meet one but I'm pretty sure Flo Jo ran by me once when I was out on a walk in Central Park.

I MET BILL ROGERS OF THE "BOSTON MARATHON" FAME HE TOLD ME TO KEEP A JOURNAL OF EVERY RUN IGO ON AND DON'T LEAVE ANY DETAIL OUT. THAT WAS 20 YEARS AGO AND I AM NOW ON MY 36TH NOTE BOOK AND LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP ME WRITE A BOOK.
