Look girl im around your age so i know how you feel this happened to me a few times most people dont understand but listen to me they dont understand how you feel take it easy if you "love" him dot rush it'll freak him out just take a calmer approach on letting him know you like him alot or else your heart might get broken.

They probably know that you don't love them, because you barely know them and you don't know what love is. I would be freaked out if a boy did that to me after only knowing for like a month or two, well being in class with them or something for like 2 months or so. It's different if you've dated them for a longer period of time and have all sorts of feelings and are obsessed and infatuated with them, but I doubt that you've been through anything really strong to test you on if you love them. I used to wonder that same thing. I'm 13 also and I used to do that to my x-bf. He didnt get freaked out he told me that he loved me back. I've found that its better to wait to say something like that until you are older and actually know what love is.

I know what love feels like, and even though it never worked out, it was never just a crush. Now to your answer, most boys at this age are too immature to care or know. Not all boys, just most.
