There is no one most effective move, as you are usually trying to set up your opponent a few moves in advance. What you choose to do will vary greatly with each opponent as they each have their strengths and weaknesses.
If you think you may have found your personal most effictive move, you may be great at it and win alot with it, but your opponents will soon figure it out and be able to counter.

The most effective fencing move is to add a gate. This way, you can allow access to whatever you were fencing off.
And, it keeps people with swords away from you.

the most effective fencing move is going to defend entirely on who you're fencing and, what weapon. Any move that will jar your opponents tempo and break his attack with your couter is usually the most effective.

Pull out your pistol.......................reason , because I cant fence ..that's a good question tho. I think some sort of feint would be very effective if used correctly and followed up w/
an aggressive move for the kill............
