Definitely Mexico is capable of beating any of the elite teams, mexico has always been the "almost" team because of scenic panic at the right and decisive monent and not because of lack of talent, with concentration and right attitude, yes they can ,they have done several times before and recently.

Mexico may win its group, however, in past opportunities has not shown consistency. The first game is usually not indicative of any teams performance and, in addition, Iran is not recognized as a strong team, either. I do not think will win world cup but it will be second in its group and pass to the next round

yes, anyone can, even africans, australians, or middle east teams. world cup is something different, mexico has beaten brasil, a couple of times in some fo their last matches, incluing FIFA touranmets as confederations cup, so maybe they can get to the court really inspired, so all the world champ games are like a coin in the air, anyone can win!, you'll se that at the results, for exaple watch, Ecuadot or T and T

i say no, right now the elite teams have been doin the "necessary" to qualify, just wait until the next round, they are goin to start playing elite soccer. And i think mexico has too big of an ego, they might be good, but their ego is bigger, and they think they better than they are.

I think not. Mexico just won the first one but........ against Germany, Argentina or England I think is better if you forget it.

yes of course, south korea in 2002 beat italy,spain,and portugal,senegal upsetted the world champions france,greece won the euro 2004 cup,anything could happen, this game is full of suprises
