My ob said my uterus is a little high for 12 weeks ?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and my ob said that my uterus is a little high for 12 weeks. If thats the case can I be more than 12 weeks pregnant.

Have you had an ultrasound yet? My uterus was high for 12 weeks and I was carrying twins.

Sometimes that is true. If you have had children before, your uterus could be stretched, making it look like you are farther along than you really are.

You could be... but sometimes they measure like that. Next visit you will probably measure right.
