Depends on how messed up things need to be to get the Battle of Armageddon. And it depends on if someone fights in the Valley of Armageddon in the near future. I think we are on our way, but even with a world war three we will still probably won't see Armageddon (the finality). Just cause World War Three probably won't be devastating enough.

If I had to pick one event that will happen first it would have to be World War 3... but it won't be a war like WW1 and WW2... it will be a religious war and a cultural war because of the religious fanatics on all 3 sides that is stirring it up.

I would suggest you read "7 days in May" and then ask this question again... assuming you feel the need to ask it again.

You will be waiting a long time for Armageddon. It is a metaphorical refernce, not a preeiction of the future by a prophet. Apocalyptic literature was common in the ancient Jewish world. No one mistook it for prophecy then Why start now.

If world war III is there there will be no battle of Armagaddon. There would be nobody to fight one another. Perhaps if they do come about both would come about simultaneously and the names would be intercahgeable.
