The 32 countries are divided in 8 groups, with 4 team in each group.

First Phase :
The system of play will be the league system, each team playing one match against each of the other teams in the same group, with three points for a win, one point for a draw and none for a defeat.
Each team plays agains the other teams of his group.(Total 3 games per team)
The winner and runner-up of the group avance to the next phase.

Second Phase (group of 16):
From this phase on it's one on one. It will all be played in accordance with the knock-out system: the winner of the game avance to the next phase

Then the next phases are quaterfinals, semifinals and final. In total, the teams that get to the final plays 7 games.

What do you mean?????

There are several groups. Each group has like 6 teams or something. Those six teams play against each other and eliminate teams. Then the winning teams from each group go on to play each other in quarter finals. Then those winning teams go on to play in the semi-finals. And then finally those teams go to play in the final.
