If so, then why do we always hear about Africa's proverty? Please, don't misunderstand me. My dream is to travel and I just want to know a couple of facts.

It depends on how you define poorest. If you are talking about the most people living below the poverty line, it is Asia. But overall, there is much more $$ in Asia than Africa. Either way, if you are looking to travel, check out Kenya and China. Both are incredible.

nope, its africa... instead now u have two biggest economies of world from asia. viz. india n china.
