No, they are not the same. The Democrats believe in a strong Federal government. They tend to be more liberal. The Republicans believe is a stronger State government. They are usually more conservative. They both want power, that is okay. What is wrong is the way they are fighting over everything and forgetting that all of us are Americans.

They are becoming so because the education system and the television media are doing such a good job of indoctrinating the public, particularly young people, into left wing and feminist politics. So, the only way to get elected is by appealing to that way of thinking. It is so sad because it is destroying the country.

yeah pretty much, they are corrupt, greedy, and cheating groups of businessmen, who will do anything to get power.
the only difference is strategy. they don't have morals, and could care less about any of the bills and laws and regulations that they say they are going to work so hard to fix, they just research the topics that the majority of people want to hear, and they tell them that they will fix it.
it is like a fast food chain or clothing store.
if the trend is ripped jeans, they sell ripped jeans, if the trend is hot pink spandex, they will change their image in the blink of an eye.

The republican party believes that people should support themselves and to keep people off welfare. They support businesses, jobs, and progress. The Republicans do not generally like to waste money on "social club" projects and they believe in a strong military. Republicans have integrity, loyalty, and character. Most Doctors and people of honor are Republicans.
Democrats wants free ride ...something for nothing. They want massive taxes, lots of welfare. and they support criminals, illegal immigrants, food stamps, and anything the ACLU supports. Most teachers, union workers, Blacks, Mexicans, and lawyers are Democrats. Most people in jail and prison are Democrats.

Their idealogies are not the same, but their push for power does seem to be the same. Each of them believe they know the right way to govern.

There are real differences in the platforms. Most politicians are interested in issues, but a few are just "career politicians" with no real allegiances.

The Dems and Repubs are the same.
The "third-parties" are different...but then we haven't seen them in action because we haven't given them the chance...so who can say for sure. But they can't be any worse!
