i think it's time we started making people accountable for their choices and stop making excuses with all these "disorders and syndromes" that keep popping up!!!

Criminals should definetely be held accountable for their behavior, no matter their past. I believe a person can be compassionate and still let people suffer the consequences of their actions.

I do believe there are people with disorders and syndromes, and it is indeed sad when they do something wrong. It reminds me of 9-11. I don't feel any empathy for the terrorists that did that horrible thing. But we can never understand them, even if we try. Even if we begin to see that they are religious zealouts with their own beliefs, they still must be punished for taking innocent people's lives.

You said it! Except in extreme cases such as severe mental illness. But I'll never accept "I had a crappy childhood" as an excuse for criminal behavior. I know plenty of people who have had terrible childhoods and worked through their problems to turn out fine.

where are you planning to start this crusade against these disabled people? what are you getting out of it? why dont you find something to occupy your mind instead of worrying about other folks that have nothing to do with your life and livlihood. let the pros take care of those people.
