Hey wait! I think I really did find it now! There is a group called Stillwater that sings a song called mind bender and it is definately an old rock song. I think that other one from George Howard was jazz. Sorry bout that! If you'd like to preview the song to make sure it's the right one you can go to ebay and under the music category type in mind bender, then click on the 3rd link down and at the bottom they have an option to preview the song! there was a group back in the 60's called Wayne Fontana and the Mindbenders

Stillwater did it in the 70s. It's a song about a talking guitar and the guitar solo sounds like the guitar is talking.
