What does the database look like?
You have to have a table and a column that contains age information and a table and column that contains corresponding names. With that, you can write an SQL select statement to filter, sort, and present names & age.

I will explain u here for Oracle 9i.

1) Let take the table name as Employee. If the table already have the age field then use the below query.

select name,age from employee

which display name and age of employee.

2) If the table having the date of birth only. we have to use the following query.

select (sysdate-age)/360 from employee
