I buy my own candy, but for some reason, I always have a bad craving for that overpriced movie popcorn they have. Must be something in their butter.

Smuggle it in! They can't legally search you anyway. Baggy pants hide just about anything! I smuggled in half a pizza once, under my trench coat. There's no way I'll pay five bucks for a small popcorn and soda.

I usually smuggle twizzlers into the theater but I always buy the popcorn and soda, so I figure it evens out :)

I 'smuggled' beer into the dollar theater a few times. Wait for a loud scene to open them though, a can popping open in a quiet theater is really, uh, noticeable.

Well I've snuck food before and drinks. But the last time my family and I went to the movies the movie tickets were free so I broke down and bought their expensive crap. I could of bought a nice dinner for the money I paid for popcorn and pop though. ANd I'm talking dinner for a family of 4!
In the winter time it's so easy to sneak stuff in but not in the summer!

smuggle all the way. I once sold a kit kat bar to a dude sitting next to me in the theater. I paid 50 cents for it at the dollar store and charged him a buck. Yay for profits!

smuggle! some candy is harder though, when u love it shakes and make noise. bottle drinks u can put the top back on, dont want to have it look like u had an accident, even if that 3 hour long movie was too long not to go.

When I went to StarWars III I dressed up as a Sith Lord and smuggled in a 6 pack and a bunch of candy for me and my friends under my cape. No one looked twice.
Normally I just toss a bag of candy and a soda in my cargo pockets.

I would say..with all due respect to the movie theater and their fab choices..that I am a smuggler. I won't pay 5 dollars for a box of stale Junior Mints..when I can buy them at $1.50 at Walgreen's. Same candy.
It might lesson the ambiance..and the surprise of the whole, "What to choose..oh my..all these choices question." But...in the long run..it is the right thing to do.
