i dont want ot hear they rock or cause they are hott. That doesnt define a good band. I personally think they are terrible and dont see how they are compared to Greenday. Everyone knows a greenday song. My Chemical romance looks like vampires and is horrid.

I think they're okay. I, personally, don't think you've heard everyone's opinions on them. People don't just like bands because they're so-called "hot", they have to at least have some kind of interest in the music.
People rave about them being hot, because maybe that's easier for them to talk about other than the music that certain band produces. It's okay to like bands for that reason - hey, I'm sure they aren't complaining! Their CD's would still be gettin sold lol. And like I said, I'm sure there's still some sort of interest in the music.
Besides, I'd argue that more people do like Green Day more anyway (myself being one). And I agree that Green Day's music is more appealing, and deals with matters that are a little more up-to-date so more people can relate to them.

theyre my favorite band because there really open out themselves. They have such a great mixed sound that no other band has. theyr lyrica are so extremly heartfelt and they make sense in a twisted sort of way. Theyre not the band thats after groupies. They were always the under dog they were always the loser kids in school the ones that went unnoticed. But they beat the odds. Gerard (lead singer) was a raging alcoholic and then later a cocaine addict. He's sober now and hes always saying how good he feels to be sober and free. They have an image that can scare some but its just the way they are. Theyr songs actually have a message and a point. Yet so many people overlook that and follow them for the wrong reason but theres some of us that actually feel that they are something more than just pretty faces or just because they rock. :)

My chemical Romance is a band with old 80's punk mixed with alternative. They are like Green Day in the way that punk rockers hate the fact Green Day is catoragarized as punk music . As far as their look ummmyeah they look like vampires dont punk rockers?

probable a similar clarification why human beings hate rap, they don't understand it, and at the same time as someone would not understand some thing, their thoughts are continuously detrimental to that difficulty, packed with criticism and hatred. some human beings have a not straight forward time understanding that music is a personal style, and that there are 6 Billion human beings in this international, and liking different genres is inaccurate of their opinion. it really is for sure an illustration of stupidity and shortage of information.

Because of their songs, i love their songs, and the lyrics are so meaningful.
Besides, they are not those kinda mainstream band who play songs just to hit the chart. MCR plays their song to project their emotion in it, they write their own songs, and that's why everyone luv 'em.
Btw, Way brothers (gerard and mikey) and equally hot.!

they have a different style of music
and i really don't think they look like vampires, have you ever seen a vampire, cuz i sure haven't, so i really don't think you should compare them to something that doesn't exist....

I happen 2 think that Gerard is hot, but their songs do have a meaning...like "Helena"...it's about Gerard and Mikey's grandmother passing away...their songs are fun to listen to and people have their own opinions about them...that's why people like them!

I liek them because their lyrics mean something to them. They aren't just trying to get famous, they mean what they sing. Also, you can relate to at least one of their songs if you listen to the words. But you are right, they are no camparrison to Green Day in any way, shap, or form. Green Day kicks a-s-s,

Well because they're "hawt" is the reason why people like them. Its a way for overprotected 15 year old girls to feel rebellious.
