As previously stated, check with the Red Cross first. You can probably go to www.redcross.com, to get some information. Here is a number for Human Resources #1-800-8415627. General Public Information 1-800-792-1112. Check with the Churches in Your Area. Call the City Hall in Your Area and ask for Information. Sometimes Police Departments have what they call Indigent funds, usually donated by the Church, but that will only help with a meal.
Get out the phone book and look up Attorneys, look under Bankruptcy, and call everyone that says that they will give You a Free Consultation, and find out what You can do to keep Your home. It may cost less for the Red Cross to keep You in Your home than to put Your Family up in a new place, or Hotel.
Now, where is Dad. If He is here on Earth, find Him, and get His Help, if He is not, I am sorry for Your loss.
Keep Your Chin Up, there are good things to come, You are in My Prayers, turn to God, He can help You most.
God Bless

with 3 children because he couldnt keep it in his pants. any way. i went to the local council and with in 48 hours i was put into a hostal in a 1 room place alone and i stayed there for 4 n half months. then i got a place to live. but mine wasnt through bank rupsy. or my choice. but im just giving you an example of what you can try. also you can go onto a houseing list for private renting. there are options. just get your head around the fact that you have to move forward.

Temporarily, contact your local Red Cross. They will find you temporary housing.
Otherwise, you might want to talk to an attorney about filing bankruptcy and stopping the foreclosure.

might also want to check any local charities...even church based groups. seems that the catholic charity groups are less judgmental.
