I'm 15 how do i know if i'm to shy or just ugly.?

you need to build your self esteem i see many guys that are average with hot women...i for one am ugly but i don't believe it for a second...beauty is in the eye of the beholder!!!

You could be both or none at all and it wouldn't matter that much to most. Obviously you care becuz it matters to you. Shy means you are anxious or afraid to speak to people in big groups and you often do not like to voice your opinion because you think you do not have anything to contribute or say that people will find important. You also do not take compliments or attention very well because it embarrasses you or makes you feel spotlighted. Are you like that? If no then maybe you feel ugly and feeling ugly can give the perception that you are shy because you tend not to want to spotlight yourself and you get anxious or you are afraid to meet people or be in groups for fear of rejection or negative comments regarding your your perceived ugliness.

You need to build confidence and learn to feel goo about yourself. Watch who you surround yourself with. There is not much you can do about being ugly but feeling like you are ugly has hope. Light makeup, hair cuts to suit your face, simple nice clothing - nothing to trendy or fashionable that stands out too much, and nice warm smiles with a caring and warm personality, feeling good about being you and being happy with you, helps makes you feel good about yourself - and people interpret that as beautiful.

Almost all 15 yr olds doubt themselves. They tend to feel like people are judging them and thinking bad things about them.

It's just a phase you're going through.

You're probably a little shy. That's an okay trait. You'll grow out of that a little, too, with some practice.

And remember to think positive thoughts about yourself. You're just as good as anyone else. Confidence makes a person attractive.

15, geez. Life usually sucks all 'round for most people who're 15. Except for the jocks, most of whole will be pumping gas and miserable later in life.

I don't know if you're ugly, but at 15 you almost certainly have acne - I still get some here and there and I'm 29, but I'm an exception.

Girls at the age, at least at my school, were almost all b!tches. They can't help it. And to be fair, most of the guys are a$$holes to them, so don't blame them.

Go to Barnes and Noble and read Dating for Dummies - you won't need to read it all, but it gets into mindsets here and there.

first and fore most nobody is TOO ugly to get someone your answer would be that you must be too shy. any one can get with someone it is a matter of confidence you need to find that confidence what might help is finding what you are insecure about and find someone who has it worse in order to find your self grate full for what you do have this will help build your confidence and eliminate your shyness
I do know what i am talking about i once had that problem but now i am 21 and full of advice and confidence so i now have plenty of people chasing me.
