Wasnt democretus idea of anti-matter being explained today as what makes up matter?

Democretus had the idea first .May be he got the idea from the Bible which called it the "Nothing".
So the idea of matter being formed from "nothing "is from the Bible and is being used to day scientifically?

The bible could be the place where he got his theory, but unlikely. The theory that anti-matter exists comes from the big bang theory, which is comes out of scientific thought that there could be another explanation to our existence. The liklihood that someone would come up with a different explanation using someone elses is small. And anti-matter is a pretty far-fetched theory with no observable, reproducible, reproductions of anti-matter.
