It's a cruel joke on all men from god. We lose all the hair on our heads, where we want the hair, and instead of hair growing on our heads it starts growing all over where we don't want it....it's coming out of our nose, our ears, all over our backs, out of our butt crack, EVERYWHERE but on our heads. It's not fair, it's not right, but it sure beats the alternative....................death, so I'll be happy getting old with my bald head and hacking the hair out of my nostrils and ears. No idea. But some grow more than other men. I have chest hair, but it doesn't cover up my chest like a bear's hair does for a bear.

I don't think they grow more hair per se - I think that as they loose the hair on the top of their heads, it falls off and re-roots itself to new and exciting areas, such as inside the ears, on the back, etc.

It's called Testesterone, men produce more as they get older and therefore produce more hair. It's funny, they can cut some off, but I think they think it's manly.... lol...
