Im trying out for my schools dance team and i have a problem with kick. Does any body have any tips on how i can get better at it?

I would say stretching your legs and doing crunches. You need strong abs to be able to hold your torso up. You aren't going to be able to focus on your kicks if you are falling all over the place because yours abs aren't strong. Also in kick lines you will pull everyone else down if you can't hold yourself up. And obviously stretch your legs and mainly practice getting your splits down. There is no way you are going to be able to get beautiful, knee-to-your-nose kicks without having your splits down.

Strengthen your ABS. They are what keep you standing up straight and not slouching over when you try to kick. You will look professional and poised when you kick if your abs are tight and help you to lift your leg. Do situps straight up and to the sides. It will also help to stretch so your legs and believe it or not stretch you feet tops so that you get a pretty point when u kick.

strech and become more flexible. there is no "easy" answer, just a lot of blood, sweat, and tears =)
