Has anyone seen the first Boonedock Saints movie? Did you absolutley love it? Do you know when the new movie is going to come out?

Oh yeah... was the "cat part" the best part of any movie ever?!?

the first release of the DVD is great, and the 'director's cut' doesn't have that much more added into it, other than a gag reel... which is always good, and a better commentary with Billy Connely, which is fantastic!
As far as a sequel, "All Saints Day" was said to be in pre-production, but the few of us that have been fans for years, and have gotten word or two from Troy Duffy himself (yes we are that big of fans, that he let us know updates) is that it's likely not to be made. There are still legal issues abound about making the movie, and there isn't a studio who wants to take on production. Most of the original people are interested in making the second film, but Willam Defoe has given a no to being in the second, if there is one. We still hold a hope, but it's not likely it'll ever be made.
Now normally I would direct all interest to the offical website to confirm my statement, but it's recently been re-designed and much of the information that used to be on there has been taken off the site. Check it out for yourself though if you want to... but if you join the boards, be prepared to suffer with our torment of new members.
oh yeah... and listen to the director commentary for the story behind the cat scene.

I absolutley loved the first movie and have been trying to find any info on when the second is coming out. No luck ( at least nothing reliable ).

Boondock Saints is the greatest movie ever. Everyone should watch it and love it!

Love the movie didn't know there was a new one coming out.I heard they released it in theatres last year some time!
