2 dayz ago my nail was broken but only the bottom half.the upper part was stickin to the skin.now after bandagin it rest of the nail is also sticked bak like the other nails but its painin like **** n i asked the doctor n she said it'll take sometime.wat shuld i do now n also the pink colour part of the skin isnt visible through the skin like oters.itz in violet color.wat shuld i do

You can buy a finger guard in the first aide section of the pharmacy. It would help protect your finger from bumps and such. Be very careful and keep the nail trimed as close as possible. It will have to grow off and that will take time. There is nothing you can do about the violet color. That too will resolve in time.

What? I didn't understand most of that..(?).. from what I did understand, you broke your nail and tried to bandage it to keep it from breaking further down? then, you called you doc and she said it'll take some time to heal..right?
Well, I think your doctor is right,... injuries do take time to heal and it's a real pain (literally) having to wait for this to happen. It's probably "normal" for the violet color as, when we injure ourselves, we tend to bruise. If you're that concerned, see your doc. again! And, do yourself a BIG favor, do NOT paint the nail or try and fill it with a false nail, ok?.. at least until it stops hurting and you're sure there's no infection present. You can cause a very big infection and nobody wants that, right? For now, soak it in salt-water,.. that's one tablespoon of salt to about 4 cups of warm water... about 3-4 times per day...

is the nail itself still slightly attatched? if so, what I do, is use a whole lot of nailpolish to kind of adhere it back together until it grows out enough to rip it out all the way.

Try and get a new finger. U can find them for less than an arm & a leg.
