go to the doctors..you need shots right away...turn the rat over to the vet or ask the police about animal control, they may need to test it. You need shots with in the first 24-48 hours of being bit to get rid of any infection including but not exclusively rabies.

Clean the cut immediately, then go to the ER you need to be vaccinated against potential infections, some of which could be deadly.

dab the cut with anti-bacterial wipes(or even baby wipes!)and put a plaster on it.if it still looks bad when the plaster is near to falling off,then go to your nearest docters clinic and get the cut checked out,cause you may need tetnis.(tetnis is a small needle,you wouldnt even feel it!)

clean it out with alcohol. it will sting but it will kill most infections. thn go to the er. thn flush the rat down the toliet. (does not hve to be neccessarily dead) lol...jk...i hope u'll b fine..God bless
