i don't think him wanting to be himself makes him an asshole...is he a little on the selfish side?? yeah, he has a responsibility to himself, his family, the steelers team, and all of steeler nation. he should have never been so careless with his safety. trust me after he heals up and everything the city of Pittsburgh is gonna let him have it...all of steeler nation is like a family there are no fans in the world like us the team is a part of us and we take it very personal when something happens to one of our own weather it be on or off the field. trust me he'll think twice no three times before he does anything stupid again!! by the way i'm so glad he's outta the hospital it was pretty quick if you ask me that just shows his resilience he's a great guy and an even better football player. don't be surprised if you see us back at the 'BIG DANCE' again this year!!
here we go steelers
here we go
here we go steelers
here we go
Pittsburgh's goin' to the Superbowl
here we go!!!

Big Ben is a guy who loves to ride his bike and likes it better not wearing a helmet. Its a dumb choice, but not sure how that makes him an A hole. Hes a giving, grateful guy and is well liked by his team.

No, he's a great player who has yet to even see the heights of his potential. You are the ******. Everyone makes mistakes, hopefully he'll learn from this one, and become more mature and responsible.
As for you haters out there, you'd better hope he retires, because that's the only chance that any of your loser teams will have of winning the AFC North of a Super Bowl anytime soon.
GO STEELERS!

He wasn't very smart by not wearing a helmet obviously. He made a public statement today saying he will wear one for now on.

Well, though I wouldn't have described it as colorfully as you, and would not go quite so far, I agree that it was quite thoughtless and irresponsible of him not to wear a helmet... I mean, why risk your career just so you can temporarily feel cool?
