He required a lot from defenses. Double or even triple teaming him won't work for some team. I mean, look back the the super bowl with the Eagles..... he wasn't 100% but still had a great day. I think, as of today, he probably is the best wideout out on the market. He can get the ball from anywhere and will catch it anywhere. Look at the QB's he's played with...... Garcia is a garbage QB and TO made him at least look decent. McNabb isn't that great. He's a better QB than most because he can buy himself and his recievers time to get open....... but from 2003 and up, they started to try and turn him into a pocket QB...... that was a wrong move for his style but, again, padded his stats.
If I were a coach in the NFL...... I'd want him in my lineup..... just not the attitude he sports every so often......

If you ask me, he's underrated. Because of his antics, people always bring up Marvin Harrison--great WR, classy guy (until that incident last summer). They bring up Steve Smith (classy guy, over achiever, Superbowl player), Torry Holt (great guy, great WR). But then you have the malcontents--Chad Johnson (shut up and play), Randy Moss (no description needed), and TO (who acts like an idiot both on and off the field). But back to your ???- Any WR that size can quickly change directions the way he does., the way he gets separation from a DB, the way he is able to change a pattern on the dime. Do your remmber his first game with the Eagles? How the heck did he get so wide open? Terrell is also underrated because he puts up #'s and he gets double coverage. Having said all this, he is no Jerry Rice--the classiest and best football player ever.

I do think that hes overrated. First of all, he's a great receiver, so don't get me wrong he is a great player. It's his ego that gets him into so much trouble. He's good and he knows it, but he tray's to make it a REALLY big deal. But on game day, he is really good. But if he doesn't check his ego, then he's gonna really start annoying his team. And if he isn't in with the team, and they don't respect him or trust him, then it wont really matter how good he is when he plays.

Terrell Owens is overrated because he is only as good as the talent around him. Plus with the baggage he brings that definitely affects his appeal to make him a less-wanted athlete.

As a player, no, he's pretty good. But as a human being, he ranks right below the crust on my underwear! Someone needs to shoot him in the knee caps, and then in the face for good measure.

NO, hes a great reciever. His great leaping ability and speed make him the #2 wide reciever (next to Moss)

He is good. It's just that the eagles QB never threw to him. I hope he has better luck in dallas.

He's an awesome player who isn't over-rated, he just doesn't kiss anyone's butt and that's why most people hate him. I however, respect him for standing up for himself and speaking his mind.

He is an outstanding wideout... someone just needs to sew his mouth up, and put a leash on him so he'll get his @$$ back to the huddle.
