i think maybe Jon Kitna will surprise a lot of people in Detroit. there is a lot of talent at wide receiver there, and kitna looked pretty darn good in cincy before giving way to Palmer. now, with that said, the exact same thing can be said for McCown who left Arizona, also for Detroit. which ever of these two guys get the starting job in Detroit will post good numbers, not wins, mind you, but good stats.

Look at a player which recently had an injury. That will lower the stock on him regardless. One example is Steve Smith (injured the year before; led the league last season).

Also, look at third year players. Many WRs use this year as the season they emerge. The same can be said for TEs. Chad Johnson, Reggie Wayne, Alge Crumpler, Deion Branch, Javon Walker, etc. are just examples of players who hit their stride effectively in the third year.

Finally, QBs that are in low-end offense programs can still bring in the points. Kurt Warner is a prime example of this concept as well as David Carr and Charlie Frye.

Sleeper picks are hard to figure out since you have to look at players that are moderately good, but have not taken the next step to becoming household names. These picks can make you or break you.

I think a great sleeperpick is going to be Eli Manning...ok, so not completely a sleeper pick, but he did have some great fantasy games last year and as a young quarterback he's definatly got the potential to become great!

Joe Jerivicius, could get him in either rounds 10 or later because of his new team the browns. Not a bad situation though. Should get most the touches as the featured veteran on a young browns squad. Last year he was very reliable for 80+ yards and a td weekly. very key and could help you get over the hump week to week.

I think a great sleeper pick is Lawrence Maroney. He will be sharing time with Corey Dillon, who was injured last year, and there will be plenty of opertunities to gain yards with brady at QB.

Don't pick a TE!! Get Vernon Davis after the draft, he will help a lot of teams in the TE spot. A weak TE means a weak team. I'm not even a 49ers fan, i'm just so hooked on this guy

I have a feeling that Jamaal Lewis and Ahman Green are going to have breakout years this year. They are not considered sleepers because they are proven players but they will def. drop in the draft because of last season.

ronnie brown, if you can call him a sleeper. with ricky williams in canada, brown will have a HUGE year. nick saban calls him the perfect running back. he has the size and power to run over you, the speed to run away from you, and the quickness to make you miss. he also has great hands out of the backfield
