Here's the bottom line: if someone truly cares and likes to be with you, nothing will stop him/her from doing so. If excuses seem to get in the way of him being able to see you, or if you need his help, he isn't always available, he probably isn't into you.

However, if he follows through on what he says as far as seeing you, is always available for you when you need someone to talk to or vent, and if he makes surprise visits, or gets you little gifts as surprises, he is definitely into you.

Of course, not all guys are emotionally available, or think to do those things, but still like you. This is due to them usually growing up in a home where their dad was unavailable, or didn't treat their mom very well.

In that case, you need to just come out and ask.

If you don't want to ask how he feels about you, ask him how he feels about the idea, the concept of close relationships between him and a woman. When he answers, say you agree or dis-agree and tell him how you feel about close relationships between you and a man.

Another way to go about it is to tell him how you feel about him and then stay silent until he responds. He may tell you without being asked.
