I think that one of the reasons that Harry Potter is so appealing is that the reader can always wonder whether J.K. Rowling really has found out about a magical parallel world, and we'd never know about it because everyone's memories would have been magically altered with memory charms - possibly including Rowlings so she *thinks* she made it up. It's the same appeal that lies behind the Narnia Chronicles - the reader wonders if C.S. Lewis did somehow discover that there was another world....and we would never know, or be able to know. (This is not to say that I believe the Harry Potter wizarding world *is* real, of course...)

well..till now it's a fiction..n people are aware of tht..! it's only children who tend to beleive tht harry potter is real..n there's no harm in them thinking tht way..is there?!
