woah woah woah allknowing.

its not the way its meant to be? is that what you think. Well, there was not supposed to be racism but, no white people cared to listen to that rule. and where in the bible does it say DO NOT MARRY THE SAME SEX OR YOU WILL BURN IN HELL! Oh yeah, nowhere. so I suggest you best get used to homosexuals because they arnt going to change there way of life for people like you. And NEVER compair anything to being retarded.. dont even use that word use mentally disabled, one day you will say retard infront of someone who is related to a mentally disabled person

and it just happened to be today. Saying retard you have just offended my two darling cousins and my grandmother so watch your ************* mouth.
You just got me on a new subject.

Why should anyone care who loves who?
It's my guess that most homophobes are repressed closet gays. What other reason would they have for overreacting to something that doesn't concern them?
Gays want to be married so they can get the same benefits like health insurance as other families get.
Who is anyone to tell someone else that who they love is wrong?
Other than deluded bible thumpers that is.
I take it as a compliment if a lesbian makes a pass at me. It's always nice to know when someone finds you to be desirable.
What does that hurt? NOTHING!!!
People who dwell with hatred on what other people do need to get a life and do something more constructive with their time.

I have to work with gay people, and they do hit on me, and they tell disgusting stories I DON'T want to hear even though I have asked them not to a million times. Being gay is like being retarded, it may not be their fault all the time, but there is something seriously wrong with them. It is NOT normal and NOT how God meant it to be.

Whatever, my aunt and my two little cousins are "retarded" and there is nothing wrong with that. That has always been the word for it until you "politically correct" liberal assholes changed it to mentally disabled. Its the same thing, different words. Everything has to be so "politically correct" now we are forgetting whats wrong and whats right. And yes, it does say in the bible that if you lie with a man like you lie with a woman, you will go to hell. Read your bible before you say it doesn't say something that it DOES. And I am the furthest thing from a racist you have ever met so what does that have to do with this? I like good people with good morals and values, no matter what they look like. Gays obviously have poor morals and if it's not their fault, then there is something wrong with them. People like you will be the reason America will eventually fall into the depths of hell. I know where I'm going though, and it's not with y'all. I have a very close relationship with God and have read my bible cover to cover more than a couple times. I am a certified genius, I have an MBA and I do prison ministry for people on death row. Don't think I'm some stupid kid on here like you.

P.S. I can tell you are a teenage girl by your aweful taste in music from your previous posts. I will pray that you will one day realize what's right and wrong and find God and actually read your bible. And, you should not use language like you did up there, you are probably too young to talk like that in the first place, but it is not very kind, or attractive anyway.

I don't hate anyone.

If you truly believe that all humans are created equally, then making an issue out of this only serves to further stigmatize groups.

Be careful of putting a persons lifestyle chocees on a pedestal as if they can do no wrong, and everyone is out to get them.

Gay men and gay women can be just as close minded and rude as a straight man or woman.

You call them "gay/lesbian people" as if they were a different race, or from a different world. "They are some of the nicest people in the world". Again, sounding as if you think they are a different group of people.

I know that's not your intent, but do you see the point I'm making?

If you truly dislike intolerance, be careful with how you express your thoughts. People are people. Everyone is the same. The best methods toward unanimous acceptance are to ignore the hatred and avoid debating with people who disagree.

Your actions are louder than your words. Act as if you don't care. Act as if you accept differences. Demonstrate your feeling.

It's infectious; it just takes a long time for people to catch on.

The right wing has created this issue to get people to vote on morals rather than the facts at hand. A farmer in the midwest will vote for Bush and the conservatives, just so gays can't get married, even if their agriculture bills do away with the small farmer.
The right wing also preaches that they detest the marriage of homosexual couples because they are "protecting the sanctity of marriage of a man and a woman". But I don't recall hearing about any bills, funding, or new programs to combat divorce rates. The divorce rate is as high as ever, and perhaps it is one largest influences in all kinds of statistics that we should lower. Divorce affects children in school (testing scores, dropout rate), alcohol and drug abuse, domestic violence, etc.. So while they're preaching on the escence of what it is to be married, they aren't really doing anything to protect the institution of marriage.
Also I haven't directly addressed homosexuals. If it really was a choice than why would they choose that way of life, knowing the discrimination and bigotry they will encounter in their lives? This isn't a violent movement or something, it is just people that love other people. Like Lewis Black said, if there were a group of gay banditos going around and breaking into families homes and buttfu**ing them, I could see the problem.
Coming from a small town I have seen alot of idiotic bigotry towards homosexuals, and rampant homophobia. My brother, who is a successful funeral home director, a Marine, and homosexual went to lunch with me at this small town bar. We were just sitting there and he just came from a service so he was well-dressed. This country-fried hick came up to him and actually pushed him, called him a fa*got, and told him to get out. My brother turned around and practically picked him up by the neck and pinned him against a wall. Instead of playing it off all macho, my brother started acting like he was unzipping his pants!! He scared the life outta this guy, turned around and sat back down and ate. It also turned out the funeral he serviced was for this guy's friend, so just a little extra irony. But it's amazing the homophobia and the audactiy of this guy to come up and actually confront him.

Hate is such a strong word. I try to save it for something worthy. You know serial killers, child molesters, wife beaters, drug pushers, and OBTW terrorists. If you use the term hate for homophobes what term do you use for those you dislike more?

And isn't referring to someone as homophobic a little prejudicial? After all just because you don't like something doesn't automatically make me phobic. I don't like spiders. But I'm not arachnophobic. I just don't like spiders. There are those who don't hate homosexuals, they don't fear them, they just aren't as convinced as you are it's a normal or natural condition. And they don't like them.

But it's an easy way to dismiss their dislike as being a mental problem. And I can tell from the way you used the term in your intro to you it is used in a derogatory name calling manner. How many times have you ever changed someones opinion or conclusion by calling them names?

Have a fantastic day!

I am a gay male in a long term relationship. The President is pandering to the religious extremists who do not know the message of Christ's love solely for political purposes. After we are constitutionally banned from receiving equal economic benefits as hetrosexual marrieds, who is volunteering to be next? Maybe Jews or interracial couples or Latinos...or people with brown eyes. What's up with that?

I was a security guard once at a building where there were group sessions with psychologists for sex offenders. One day a bunch were on a smoke break and as I opened a door to escourt a lady by, she shuddered and confided, "These sex offenders give me the willies, I'm glad you are here." I smiled and thanked her and added, "YOU really don't have much to worry about this group, because you aren't their type." When she asked how that could be, I explained that she was female and already past puberty. Imagine her feeling threatened by sex offenders who weren't interested in her because of her gender and age. Silly woman.

I don't care for the homophobic views that some people insist on sharing. I'm not a lesbian, but I think everyone's sexual orientation should be their own business, and not soemthing they should be persecuted for in newspapers, on the internet or in other ways.

P.S. I have the same dislike for the individuals who express hatred for people of particular races or for any group of people as a whole. I don't subscribe to that type of thinking at all and I wish others didn't, either.

Homophobia is a misnomer - it implies a fear of homosexuals. I don't fear them....I just don't like them. I think they are sick, twisted individuals. Their lifestyle choice (don't believe all the bunk about being born that way...It is truly a choice) is abhorrent and abnormal. Yet despite, all of this I would not mind them if they would just keep quiet. I'm tired of the way they keep throwing their choice into my face. I;m tired of the way theu are trying to force me to accept something that goes against my core values and principles; and if I don't accept their beliefs , then I'm wrong. Yet, I'm not allowed to believe the way I want to. Something's not right there.
