who can guess which one came first, egg or chichen?

Actually this has a real answer. According to the book "Random Kinds of Factness: 1001 (or so) Absolutely True Tidbits About (mostly) Everything" by Erin Barrett and Jack Mingo the egg came first.
According to their research chickens evolved from early Indochina birds called red jungle fowl. Mutations in the jungle fowls eggs produced things more like chickens...these bred with other bird causing more mutations producing todays chicken.
So the eggs have it!

It had to be the chicken, I have always been convinced it was the chicken. The chicken lays the egg. And not from a point of creationism, but simply, even if you want to go to germ cells turning into this and that,etc, from what we know now, it just exists

Whether you believe in creation or evolution, the chicken came first. Creation: everything was created full grown. Evolution: the chicken evolved from something else then began to lay the eggs of it's species. Personally, I'm for the creation.

Chicken, how would an egg get there if the two chickens didn't mate, but then again how would the chicken get there in the first place? Ahhh...I guess I would just say Chicken =)

egg comed first cause in the world there has been other birds before chicken appeared .also dinosaures were making eggs .. so certenly eggs comed first !
