I stopped taking the pill (after about 11 years) and continued to protect for 3 months. After 3 months, i was pregnant the first month but the pregnancy was ectopic. My doctor recommended to protect 6 months after my laparoscopic surgery ( i lost my left falopian tube) and started trying again 5 months later. I was pregnant the next month. 9 weeks and counting.

I got pregnant on the pill!!! And we used condoms!!! When God thinks it's the right time, you'll get pregnant.

In theory conception can start as soon as your next regular cycle. However, the average (I believe) is somewhere in the 3-6 month range.
If you have any concerns, ask your doctor.
