The NFL really wants to put a franchise in Los Angeles in the near future. Cities like San Antonio, Memphis, Portland, and others have clamored for an NFL expansion franchise as well. So do you think the time is near when we'll see another round of expansion in the NFL? And, if so, where would you, if you were commissioner, put prospective franchises and why?

I don't think the NFL should expand. It would dilute the talent pool. There are already some lousy teams, in the league, that are like expansion teams.

However, if there is expansion, I don't think that L.A. deserves another team. They couldn't support the teams, when they were there. Try another market.

Los Angeles....period. And for you haters, LA does deserve a team that wants to WIN, no just get a free stadium at taxpayer's expense. We support winners, not last place teams. Look at the Lakers, Clippers, Angels, Dodgers, USC, UCLA...

Texas could probably support another team, but San Antonio? I think Austin would be better.

Memphis and Portlands markets are too small. I'd suggest Las Vegas, but indoors only. Nashville is a joke.

Bakersfield? You GOTTA be joking...that would be worse than playing in Cleveland....

Yes, they should give Nashville their own team instead of someone else's rejects and left-overs. They should send the Titans somewhere else, Memphis can have them if they want them. Maybe they can go back to Texas, San Antonio might like them. They can call themselves the Oilers again, but regardless of what they're called, a piece of crap is a still a piece of crap. The stench is still there whether you call it a piece of crap or a Rocky Road ice cream. You can call them something else, put navy with that ugly powder blue instead of that sissy looking red that was almost hot pink, but they will always be the Houston Oilers in disguise. They should have changed their uniforms to the color of what the Predators have now, those are more like what I would consider Nashville colors. Instead the old fart, BUTT Adams had to hang-on to the sissy looking powder blue that reminded him of his 70's leisure suits, and his so called "glory days" in Houston. Pardon me while I barf.

As far as your question goes and what might be done in the foreseeable future, I think the league is leaning toward San Antonio to have the next expansion team.

No. 32's a nice number, and the NFL isn't losing any money by not having a team in Los Angeles.

yes and no. the competition is getting too watered down. they should relocate a team to LA and make a lower Division for minor league towns like Bakersfield, Fresno, Modesto, and whatever other California hicktowns want a team. It would be better than that Arena BonJovi trash.

How about Las Vegas or Orlando large cities with great tourism in the fall and winter.I understand the arguments against both but I think the positives out number the negatives.

I would love a NFL team in Utah. Yea I know it will never happen. What would happen to Sunday football games? The owner of the Jazz (Larry Miller doesn't even go to basketball games on sunday) or how about Monday night football? What ever happened to Family home evening? Never will happen in Utah.

yeah, put a team (i.e. Bakersfield Warriors) out there.
they need at least 4 more teams... 1 in Oregon, 2 in California, and 1 in either L.A. or Phoenix
