does anyone know a person who has a felony and has turned their live around since returning to school etc

I believe that Dog the Bounty hunter use to be a felon. I gues he's turned his life around

Yes. My brother-in-law was a meth addict at age 15 and was arrested for robbing a convenience store with a sawed-off shotgun. He was in and out of rehab for a couple years, then decided he wanted to be clean for good. He now works as the sucessful program director for a treament facility and is happily married. Though he dropped out of school in the 8th grade, he's now attending college.
