Both Brazil and Portugal speak Portuguese, as everyone knows, so nothing new there. However, who knows what the word "Kaka" means... Kaka being the name of that Brazilian player. It literally means sh_t, LOL ? Who thought of that name for that player ?!!

His name is actually Kaká, the second syllable is stressed due to the accented a. I think without the acute accent (i.e. Kaka) his name would mean, well, "crap", in various languages but because the last syllable is emphasised he's safe :) lol.

But actually the Italian equivalent of Kaká is infact "Kakà," so perhaps Kaká in Italian means "poop." And I guess this could be the reason as to why his name is spelled Kaka' with an apostrophe on his club football shirt (AC Milan), perhaps to stop fans from the opposition team from further provoking him..? And also I know that in the Malay language the word Kaka means sister, and in Indonesian it means brother or sister...hehe

And btw, when he was young his younger brother couldn't pronounce his real name "Ricardo" and so he called him Kaká instead. That's how Kaká got his name from.

I guess it really doesn't matter. What matters most is that he's definately not "crap" cause he's amazing both on and off the pitch! ;P Forca Kaká!

K is not found in words of Portuguese (or Spanish) origin, so the spelling Kaka is a less offensive way of writing caca, which, yes, means sh_t.
