I have read alot of the answeres these other women are leaving one main thing they arent saying or know is this. You say your never regular so im sure there are months you dont even ovualte. If a period is very light or scanty usually a sure sighn that you didnt that month.Believe me a women doesnt ovulate everymonth if she is one prone to missed periods .Ovulation kits only come in 7.You get 7 sticks to test your urine for a month since a healty women who has her period regular this kit is fine.Ihad the same problem and everytime i used it it said i was never ovulating. My doctor said reason why is not all women are the same some have periods every 28 says some 30 some even 35 days and thats all normal.but if you have a period one time its 28 days your next cycle it was 35 then next 30 your not regular. And your suppose to start testing around the 14 day and you use the strips for 7 days as instructed, well guess what the seventh day would be 21 and all the test showed you werent ovulating,so u think okay this month i havent ovulated and you give up.well if you remeber what i said earlier that one month it was 28 the next 35 well what went wrong is you started testing 2 early instead of the normal 14th day ovulating rule which only applies to regular cycled females.you would of ovulated on the 21 day instead of the 14 you get what im trying to say.The best way to know when your ovulating is to start taking your temps.i tried for 9 years to get pregnant i bought every ovulation kit i took birth control to regulate periods,i had numeruos test run on me,even took fertility pills.I found out i had p.o.c.s whhich is polycystic ovary disease and when you have this your periods are very irruglar sometimes you can go months without one.If you need to learn more on p.o.c.s go to yahoo web md!Ask a doctor to check to rule that out cause if i would of known years before it took 8 for them to find out cause p.o.c.s at the time most doctors didnt kow much about it and they dont know what really causes it.It does cause infertility cause it makes a women not ovulate.Your body produces more insuilin then needed and inturn it causes your ovaries to thicken so a egg cannot get out and thats why you cant get pregnant.I found that stickin to low carbs whhich low carb will lower your insulin and losing weight and i started doing the temp thing i got pregnant in 3 months!!!Remind you i was trying for 8 years! All you need is a basil body themomerter and it usually comes with a chart to record your temps and you can either buy a book in which i did or read up on the subject to understand how to use it .And i promise you will see faster and better results and be pregnant in no time i hope i helped some good luck!!

I too have had the same problem. When a women has irregular periods, it can make becoming pregnatn difficult. The rule of thumb is, for a women with regualr periods, her time of ovulation is 14 days after the first day of her last period. But this isnt true for women with irregualr periods.

The first thing i recommend is finding out when exactly you are ovualting. Dont guess....lol. I suggest an Ovualtion Test. They cost about $10, and you can get one almost anywhere that sells pregnancy tests/condoms/etc. I bought mine at Walmart. They are pretty easy to use; all you di is dip the test strip in your urine, and it can tell by the amount of hormones in your urine when you will be ovulating next. Keep working with the tests. Rememeber, a women only has a 25-33% chance of becoming pregnant when she has sexual intercourse at the time of ovulation, so its normal to take a few months. But its importantn to know when you are ovulating.

Having sex all the time WONT increase your chances of becoming pregnant. In fact, it will hinder it. When a man ejaculates on a regualr basis, his sperm count gets lower in volume, and this weaker. Try and save sexual intercourse for your time of ovualtion only.

After sexual intercourse, keep your legs and hips elevated for at least 30 minutes. This helps the sperm get where it needs to go. Many times, a women gets up after sex, and the sperm either drips out or is washed away.

Be healthy, both you and your partner. I would recommend taking a daily vitamin, one that is high in folic acid, and calcium. You can even try Estrogen, because this will help regulate your hormones, making pregnancy more likely. If you smoke, drink, do drugs, or your partner does these things, try and quit at least until you become pregnant. Doing these things will lessen the chances of pregnancy, and increase the chances of miscarriage if you do become pregnant. I also would recommend a daily mens vitamin for your partner.

Good luck!

well there are ovualtion kits you can try im doing them now and they are great !!! you buy them at the drug store or any shop that sells pregnancy stuff... you buy an ovulation kit for 5 days it comes with 5 peeing cups and 5 tests you do one test a day for 5 days at the same time every day.... it sort of looks like a pregnancy test but for ovualtion.... it comes up positive when you are at your highest and that means you are going to ovulate in 24 - 36 hours so you have sex on the day you get a positive and the day after....its worked for alot of women thats just an easier thing to try so that when you know you are most fertile you can plan a romantic evening and just enjoy the night instead of worrying the WHOLE month about making sure that you and your husband had sex on certain days so goodluck and for the future CONGRATS

You are not regular so there is no telling when or even if you ovulate. You really need to see your doctor first and tell him what you are trying to do and about your irregular periods. Then go to local walmart or walgreens and buy an ovultion kit, they work, try that for 1 month you may have a medical condition that may cause you to be less fertile, just see your doc for reall advice

The best time to have sex in order to concieve is about 14 days before your next period. In your case, it might be helpful to seek a professionals advice about this because there are many medical conditions that cause this. He/she might have you take birth control for a month or two to regulate you, then give you clomid for a few weeks and then see if you ovulate. Best of luck and take care. But definately do it in the "middle" of your cycle.

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your boy friend to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

I learn Natural Childbirth the Bradley Way. It even comprises the physical games you have to train. I additionally learn The Brewer Medical Diet for Normal and High-Risk Pregnancy. I adopted the Brewer vitamin whilst I used to be pregnant. I used the Bradley process with all 4 of my births. I additionally learn Husband Coached Childbirth, however that e-book does no longer include what you have to train to get equipped for start.

Get the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler!! It is an awesome book!! It tells you how to track you cycle! And as you become more familiar with your body & your cycle it will be easier for you to tell when you ovulate!! The book tells you how to check your CM, how to do your BBT, etc!! It's really informative and I found out so much stuff about my body/cycle that I didn't know and even more stuff about what I should've known!! So I really recommend that book!!! Hope that helps...
