Unfortunately this is going on in the US right now which to me is a farce- They should be obligated to fill any type of prescription, no matter what it is. If I am not mistaken this has mostly gone on in Walmarts around the country. Unfortunately this goes on in the nursing field also- I have seen nurses refusing to care for someone who just went through an abortion procedure in the hospital.

The pharmacist may be catholic and decided to refuse to fill one due to personnal religious beliefs. However I'm pretty sure the Catholic church recently made a new ruling regarding birth control pills so your problem may be over. Also they may be bound by law to dispense the medication or have another pharmacist on location do it. I would look for a phone number for the home office and complain if it is a pharmacy chain store.

i imagine docs/pharmacists/nurses etc. should be required to exhibit their obstacles (no matter if self-imposed or no longer) at the same time as they practice for a interest. If there is a few thing on the interest description that they are unable or unwilling to do, then they ought to no longer get employed. I do imagine that's hypocritical of them to impose their will on sufferers and different docs through hiding a request through the affected man or woman from them. As a metaphor evaluate: if someone isn't able to boost some thing over 50 kilos, they might nevertheless be able to different aspects required of a interest, yet they might bypass discover someone to assist them raise if it replaced into necessary; they ought to no longer going and leave some thing in undone (unlifted) in the technique the floor then cover the very incontrovertible truth that it's not executed from people that ought to finish the interest. BTW, the wellbeing care specialist or perhaps with is completely superb to study an remarkable version of medication that does no longer use certain concepts; how else would their cult/faith get clinical care except they'd particular docs experienced in those concepts. If those docs were to practice for a interest outdoors their quite good team, besides the indisputable fact that, they ought to settle for his or her obstacles. they might could get a lesser position or take a decrease pay scale because they're constrained. in the adventure that they are so intrusive that they could be able to not enable people to get their jobs executed besides, then the nut-interest belongs of their little commune with any people like them.

This is so stupid. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN AND CANNOT DO TO YOUR BODY. This country was founded on freedom and choices. It is mainly the Morning after pill that is so controversial, although IT IS JUST LIKE BIRTH CONTROL PEOPLE.
Sometimes, you need birth control for medical conditions, like you said. I do too, but I use it for the obvious reasons too. I went to Planned Parenthood and got a prescription for MAP ANYWAY, so EAT IT you self righteous ***holes!

They should fill out any RX's as long as it does'nt interact with any other meds. If a person brings a prescription to that pharmisist, their job is to fill your prescription whether they like it or not. That's what there getting paid for. It's no different than filling schedule II narcatics which some get it filled and then sell it on the streets which is illegal.

Well, they have the right to not do that. You have the right to tell the doctor you don't want birth control and you would like something else that can do the same result. They are not held to the same standards of doctors who must execute their job regardless of their ethics.

Most pharmacists don't feel that way
And, it's usually not BCP that they have an issue with, it's the morning after pill. They think it conflicts with their religious beliefs.
But, that is only a small percentage

They have to fill it. If they decide not to fill it then get the prescription slip back and take it to another store.

They must fill it if you have a Rx. Call your doc and tell him/her what happened, and the pharmacy's name, number, and the name of the idiot that refused to fill it. That would really piss me off too.
