I have a 3year old and a one year old. By the time I come home from work I have to cook dinner, serve dinner, get the kids a bath, put the kids to bed, relax for a few minutes, take a shower and by the time I do all of that I am climbing into bed at 11:30-12:00 and then my husband wants a piece and usually he doesn't get it unless it's been like a week or two. So on those nights I don't get to go to sleep until 1:30-2:00 then I got to get up at 5:15 so I can be to work by 6:15. Please someone tell me how to get some energy.

My husband was raised in a very old fashion family. He thinks the woman should do all the house work and the man does the yard work and goes to work and brings home the majority of the money. Him cook dinner or get the kids ready for bed that's like trying to squeeze water from a turnip. Thanks for the advice, but not my husband. I go round and round with him to try to get him to help and that will work for a day or two and nothing. I will try the other stuff suggested. Thank you so much for your thoughts and advice, it is very greatly appreciated.

Do what I do, get up and walk around. This will wake you up. I also get a tall cup of coffee at Starbucks in the morning before I even get to work. This will usually give me a kick start. There are also energy drinks and pills you can get at your local gas stations that will perk you up.
Another option is to ask your husband to help out around the house. Since you make dinner, he could get the kids ready for bed. This way everything is not put on you. A relationship is 50/50, remind your man of that.

Maybe you could get your husband to cook a couple times a week while you shower. If the kids aren't really dirty or stink they can go a night without a bath. Tell your husband you would have more energy for him if he could help out with dinner or the kids.

yeah, I know how you feel I have been going to CNA school 3 days a week and then I work at a nursing home 4 days a week and I have a boyfriend and a 16month old son. All I can say is try drinking some coffee and/or try finding a natural energy pill and a health foods store. And if you don't like coffee try Folgers cafe latte. I don't like coffee but I love cafe latte. It's good. Good luck.

Put yourself on a stricter schedule.....kids to bed by 7:30...you and husband in bed by 10:00....then no matter what you two do or not do you are asleep by at least 2 hours earlier.

getting alittle more sleep would help. There is nothing short term with out using stimulants. Long term though you can try drinking lots of water, this will increase your metabolisim. Also you can try exersising, in the beging this will make you tired but if you keep it up your body will start wanting to burn energy, so you will have more.

I wouldn't give your husband any more sex until he can start helping around the house such as fixing dinners, taking care of the kids
