It's a trait shared by most mammals. Mammals like to congrgate and socialize. Certain species like to socialize at different times of their lives. Most often the young will roughhouse and as they reach maturity, they start showing interest the opposite sex. When they age, less socialization is required. It's not a perpect theory, but it's a good generalization for many mammals and humans included.

Of course, each individual will differ based on their personality trait. But when we are young, we need playmates. As we reach puberty and adulthood we all like to mates. As we get older, we tend to be more independent.

its quite simple..becoming a hermitt may be detramental to a persons well being, with people to hang out with you may have the chance of doing things you otherwise wouldnt expierience alone.or learning new things such as verbal skills, culture, and most of all when one is alone always there is a far better chance of depression and a higher suicide rate, sometimes others to talk to can keep you from the brink of many unwise decisions.besides ur never alone with working, and going to the store, etc.so make a good friend.all you need is one

humans are social creatures, just like all other mammals. That's why animals live in packs, herds or families. Just because humans think they are superior doesn't mean they actually are any different!
