Now, I'm reading McAnthony's Wars by Michael Shina Crown. I love the courage of the Reverend in the novel till he died. He tried to maintain his integrity but ready to sacrifice it to being properly inherited. I love Jenny's character too. She's strong and determined to get honor for her family, even traveling to Africa couldn't stop her. In an odd way, I love Adam too, though he's a bad guy, perfect in pretense and crime, I still don't want him apprehended.
This is a new book but I love it to the fullest. Two thumbs up!

I'm (re)reading Far from the Madding Crowd, Tess, 1984, Knowledge of Angels, Enduring Love, Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit, The Child in Time, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Handmaid's Tale, The Crucible and a couple of others I can't remember. I'm teaching a wider reading module to A2 students and am giving them the chance to write about 2 of these. Which means, I need to revisit them all. It's a hard job, but someone's got to do it :-)

right now I'm reading Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury, Zen in the art of writing by Bradbury, Touch Magic, by Jane Yolen, it's about folk tales in children's literature. I'll probably read 20,000 Leagues under the Sea soon, Chrome Yellow by Aldus Huxley, maybe Animal Farm by George Orwell, some other books on folk tales, and, i don't know, lots of stuff. as for favorite character, that would be a toss up between Tarzan and Holden Crawfield.
