Being able to play high quality video on the PSP is one of the device's most attractive features. When combined with a Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo, the PSP makes for a nice low-cost alternative to higher priced, hard drive-based portable media players. The 4.3" widescreen LCD of the PSP is also well suited for watching movies.
Unfortunately, video playback is also one of the PSP's most confusing areas. The PSP is unable to directly play more common video formats such as DivX, XviD, and MPEG-1; it is more complicated than simply dragging and dropping the files onto the PSP's Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo. Videos in these formats must be "converted" so the PSP can handle them, and they also must conform to Sony's specifications for videos on a Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo. Because of Sony's failure to supply early PSP users with the necessary software for this conversion process, the use of third-party tools for video encoding is rampant. Furthermore, Sony has done little to educate users on exactly what steps are necessary to play video on your PSP from a Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo. As though that weren't confusing enough, older firmware versions of the PSP do not support the same video formats as newer versions of PSP firmware.
This guide attempts to make sense of all that. We'll first address what video formats your PSP is capable of playing, then we'll move to how you convert videos, then we'll talk about what you're supposed to do with the files, and finally, we'll mention a few more options for more advanced users.

MP4 is secure document so that you'll be able to`t play it once you burn it to a DVD. so that you want convert it to a distinct format and burn it to a DVD. I had a application can do both issues, and the great is it`s superb when I switched over my video clips. Rip DVD, convert video and burn video onto DVD with one application. That`s the worthest product I were given to any extent further. Their product web page the following:
