There should be a tiny eenie weenie little hole on your CD-Rom you will need a needle or something to press it and it will eject your CD.

I think you should check the Power cables and data cables connected with the drives. There seems to be some problem.
I hope this setup has worked previously. If this is the first time you are trying to setup it up this way, then you might consider checking the jumper settings on the CD and DVD Drives. Please do not tamper or change jumper settings and/or cable settings if you dont have enough knowledge and get the setup checked by some professional.

Very simple way to troubleshoot:
If there is any LED glowing (in any way) on the CD and DVD, then that means that the tray is stuck. Else, there might be a problem with the power cable connected to the CD/DVD Drve.

Be careful.

All the Best.

Manish

The paper clip trick will open the drive. But if you have no icon for the drive, check that the cables at the back of the drive have not come loose. Also watch to see if it flashes any lights during bootup. If not, there is no power getting to the drive. Again, check the cables.

If the cables appear tight, with the computer off, unplug the cables and boot the PC. This will clear any knowledge of the CD drive out of your PC. Shut down, and with the computer off reattach the cables and power back up. Hopefully then it will see the drive.

(Also, you can use the DVD drive to install your game too)

Just below the CD tray will be a small button. It is probably stuck. Just poke it with a pencil till the button pops out and then the tray should open,

you need to install the CD software again...if you want tp open the CD drive...get a pin and insert it in a very tiny hole near the "open" button on your CD drive..it should open it...if the problem continues..contact your PC maintenance store..

Unfold a paperclip, and insert it into the small hole in front. Push straight in, and the drive should move outwards slowly. Be careful.
