Keep track of your fertile period with an ovulation kit. Have lots of sex around that time, but not for a week before, you want your husband to shoot full loads :).

Have sex in the missionary position with a pillow under your butt. This will point your vagina a little uphill so the semen won't leak out so much.

Have your husband stay inside until he goes soft. That will keep him from pulling some of the semen out.

Don't move for at least a half hour. Let those little swimmers have as much time as they can to get through your cervix.

Pray. Children are a gift from God. Ask him for a gift!

Don't stress about it. Stress hormones can kill sperm. I have known many couples that tried everything to get pregnant and nothing worked. Then when they gave up hope and stopped stressing, she got pregnant.

Good luck!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.

After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex.

After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 5 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

Quit any type of addictive behaviour, like drinking, drugs, smoking!
Try and get yourself to an ideal weight, drink plenty of water, eat right and excersise!
Then what you can do is either buy an ovulation kit, or chart it out on any baby site your most fertile days!
Have sex the day before and the day of!
Lay on your back after sex with your pelvis tilted to allow the majority of the sperm to got into your uterus! for aobut 20 minutes or so!
also take pre-natal pills!
Good Luck!

P.S. - a lot of this was general, and i'm not saying you are or aren't doing any of that. I just wish you good luck, keep trying!

My recommendation is to have your OB-GYN give you a referral to a reproductive endocriologist. They will be able to give you a full assessment of your reproductive situation. An Ob-gyn is great - but having one that specializes in fertility will be key. They will then make a recommended course of action from there.

All of other advice, ovulation kits, de-stressing, is good. But, if there is an issue all of this is just a waste. Real peace of mind comes from finding out the truth. Good Luck!

Cough syrup is suppossed to help. Some women have thick mucis linings and the sperm has a hard time fighting to get in. For a lack of a better way to say it. Take a dose of cough syrup or decongest to thin the mucis membranes... and give those sperm a fighting chance. Its actually recommended by OB-GYN's!!! good luck

Relax Monica. You are probably so stressed out that internally things are not working for you. Not to mention after enchaging in sex, keep your hips elevated slightly for about 20 minutes. Gravity you know.
