He's probably wrong, but he may not know that he's wrong as his wife isn't there to tell him so. Unless his cell phone works in the wilderness, then he can call her and ask.

God hears him and that is all that matters. The bible tells us that we will be held accountable for every idle word that we speak; therefore, if a man is in the wilderness and he wants to remain guiltless in his speech, then it is better that he not speak at all.
